Mr. Karma Sherpa

Namaste! I am Karma Sherpa, the Operations Head of Himalayan Karma Treks, with over 7 years of professional experience in trekking, mountain guiding, and adventure tourism across the Himalayas of Nepal. Throughout my journey, I have guided travelers from different parts of the world on various trekking routes and Himalayan adventures, ensuring safe, authentic, and memorable travel experiences.

I am fluent in both French and English, which allows me to communicate effectively with international travelers and provide personalized support during trekking and expedition journeys in Nepal.

As a passionate mountaineer and experienced trekking guide, I have successfully completed five ascents of 7,000-meter peaks and four summits of 6,000-meter mountains. These mountaineering achievements have given me valuable expertise in high-altitude trekking, expedition operations, mountain safety, and Himalayan route management.

During the trekking off-season in Nepal, I work seasonally in France, where I am also involved in skiing activities and mountain-based seasonal work, gaining international experience in outdoor adventure, hospitality, and cultural exchange. During Nepal’s travel season, I actively lead and manage trekking and expedition operations in the Himalayas, helping travelers experience the natural beauty, culture, and adventure of Nepal safely and comfortably.
